GyroBase

class wpilib.GyroBase(self: wpilib.GyroBase) → None

Bases: wpilib.interfaces.Gyro, wpilib.ErrorBase, wpilib.interfaces.PIDSource, wpilib.Sendable

GyroBase is the common base class for Gyro implementations such as AnalogGyro.

initSendable(self: wpilib.GyroBase, builder: wpilib.SendableBuilder) → None
pidGet(self: wpilib.GyroBase) → float

Get the PIDOutput for the PIDSource base object. Can be set to return angle or rate using SetPIDSourceType(). Defaults to angle.

Returns

The PIDOutput (angle or rate, defaults to angle)
